UPDATE: Download link but if all fails, I'll remove it: [ Ссылка ]
You've seen it being worked on, why haven't you? I've livestreamed it for goodness sake. The updated remake on the 2009 20th Century Fox logo. Now, I would talk about how the structure and textures been updated to be more realistic but I wanna talk about the other stuff.
For starters, the light beams has received a massive overhaul. It now uses Thomas Percival's light beams and it is now composited with nodes (hint, hint, more of the nodes is gonna be mentioned as well). Now, this makes the beams more like the original but it also have its limitations. For one, it's plane so it is prone for clipping. One of them actually clipped in the video you're watching. And for another, some of the animation will be a bit choppy. Especially the beginning. I can't do anything about it however.
We now set foot on the city and the sky. The city is now remodeled from scratch using reference images of the Fox screen-captures. It has been composited to give it a glow. For the sky, I've used SuperBaster2015's sky this time around and it is composited as well and I've gave it a misty feel via nodes. I've also added three extra billboards and also added cars that are recycled from my FTS (FSP Style) Blender file but I also added two of TP's vehicles.
Other enhancements includes the addition of vector blur to make it more like the actual logo but it also gives it a sense of realism. And, a updated camera. This time, I've made the camera track the empty so that it will have more realistic movements.
Over a week it took me to make this and over five hours to render. I hope you like this because I definitely do. Actually, I know you're going to like it. It's a logo remake for goodness sake and my fanbase are logo lovers. And the download link? I'll bring in the download link later because the public link seems to do OK so far.
-Blender 3D 2.78 for the animation.
-MAGIX Vegas Pro 14 for adding the music.
