Please find below the steps to recreate this simple Islamic border :
- Draw a frame (dimensions to suit your need) having windows isthmus of 1 cm using pencil
- Now fill in the border with watercolour/gouache paints
- Wait for the paint to dry, then make the outline using fineliner/gel pen
- On both the sides of the frame mark dots at a distance of 1 cm from each other
- Then mark a thicker dot in the center of the dots places earlier
- Join the lines as shown in the video
- The corner can be tricky. Remember ( Left-Top …… Right-Bottom) Here Left/Right denotes the side of the corner. Top/Bottom represents which line is to be drawn touching the center dot
- Make the corners smooth
- Draw the arcs on either side of the frame and fill in the empty spaces thus formed
