FIFTY FIFTY Sets the Stage Ablaze at Korea Grand Music Awards. FIFTY FIFTY lit up Incheon’s Yeongjong Island with their presence at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) held at the Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon, on October 17.
The group, part of the Day 2 lineup for the event that spanned two days from October 16 to 17, showcased special performances and earned a meaningful award, reaffirming their successful new start.
FIFTY FIFTY received the IS Rising Star Award and expressed their gratitude, saying, “We’re so thankful to receive such a wonderful award. We take it as a message to work even harder. We promise to always repay your love with great music and would also like to thank the ATTRAKT family and CEO Jeon Hong-joon for their support.”
The group’s live performances captivated the audience, featuring their first-ever rendition of “CUPID” and the title track “SOS” from their September album Love Tune. These dreamy and charming stages highlighted FIFTY FIFTY’s unique style. The rock version of “Gravity” especially showcased the members’ powerful vocals, leaving the audience in awe and demonstrating their versatility.
Following their win for Best Popularity Award at the inaugural TikTok Awards on October 15, FIFTY FIFTY added the IS Rising Star Award at the 2024 KGMA to their accolades, solidifying their success since reconfiguring as a five-member group.
FIFTY FIFTY is now gearing up for their first U.S. tour, LOVE SPRINKLE TOUR in USA, starting in San Francisco on October 27. The tour will take them to eight cities, including Chicago and New York, where they’ll connect with their global fans.
