In this video I demonstrate how I change a wheelchair tire. It is pretty much identical to changing a bicycle tire. It's that easy. You can even do it in your own kitchen!
On my chair I run 26" Spinergy Sport wheels w/24 spoke (the thick spokes). I highly recommend these rims. I've been on the now for 6 years and never had any issues with the spokes, hubs, hub bearings, hand rims, Natta! The tires I prefer to use are the Schwalbe Marathon Plus with the directional tread. I prefer the black color just cause it looks a lot sharper on my chair.
