Mukesh Ambani led Jio Cinema has bought IPL streaming rights from 2023 to 2027 and it has decided to stream this year's IPL for free.

The main reason is company is looking to hook customers with it's OTT platform and slowly will introduce different monetisation plans.

It can come up with subscription plans or sell these customers other Jio services.
