On April 25, 2013, the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Subcommittee of the Senate Appropriations Committee held a hearing on NASA's proposed Fiscal Year 2014 budget.

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden was the lone witness.

Only three Senators attended -- Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), Richard Shelby (R-AL) and Thad Cochran (R-MS).
