Established in 1956, Kampong Buangkok is the last standing kampung in Singapore. Situated in the outskirts of Hougang, off Yio Chu Kang Road, Kampung Buangkok houses 28 families. The land currently belongs to Ms Sng Mui Hong who lives among the residents and collects small amount of rental fees from the other families.
