Believe it or not, every single shot in this film was shot on the AKASO V50 Elite! Honestly, I wasn't really sure what to expect from a $139 action camera, but the quality of the footage we captured was unreal!

We filmed every shot in 4K 60fps for that smooth high resolution (4K) slow motion footage, and we were blown away by the quality this budget action camera produced! Majority of these shots (particularly some of the underwater shots) have actually not been colour corrected or altered in any way as they simply didnt require any touching up or enhancement, and the level of colour correction generally was extremely light across the film.

When underwater we were filming in Diving Mode which gives the camera an underwater colour boost and adds back some of those red colours, and above water we were simply filming in Automatic modes and automatic white balances. There are a range of options allowing altering of general exposure levels, white balance and some other options should you require these.

The film was shot 4x4 beach driving and surfing in Byron Bay in Australia, and freediving and snorkelling with turtles at Cook Island in Tweed Heads over 36 hours.

Final point here: The attachments, mounts and accessories included is ridiculous. I've owned a range of GoPro cameras and they come with 1 battery and ... well, thats about it. These cameras come with spare batteries, dual chargers, wifi remote, and a reasonably large box full of different mounts included in the base product!
