Join Symbio as he takes part in a Star Wars Destiny Draft Tournament using the new Rivals Draft Kit! 6 Boosters were used 2 each from Awakenings, Spirit of Rebellion and Empire at War. We had 8 players and drafted in pods of 4.
This video goes through the drafting process and talks about some strategies on what to cards to look for in your first Draft.
Drafting Star Wars Destiny involves buying 6 packs. Sitting with a group of players and opening 3 packs and combining them into 15 cards. Place your dice in front of you or in the middle. Pick 1 card and then pass the rest to your LEFT. Continue this process until there are no more cards to draft. Next open the last 3 packs and do the same but this time pass the cards to your right. Once you have all 30 cards drafted, get your corresponding dice. Build a 20-30 card deck ignoring Hero/Villain Restrictions but still following Color restrictions. You may use any legal cards from the Rivals Draft kit for your deck.
To help you get an idea of what to draft, similar to Magic The Gathering you can use the B.R.E.A.D. acronym to help remind you.
B. - Bombs
R. - Resources
E. - Evasion (i.e. Mitigation)
A. - Aggro
D. - Discards to Reroll
