The Full Moon Party at Rin Beach in Ban Tai Subdistrict, Koh Phangan District, Surat Thani Province, on Monday night was bustling with tourists, especially from Europe, India, and Thailand. Various agencies' officials worked together to maintain order and ensure safety for tourists at the event venue.
Ratchaporn Poolsawat, President of the Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association, said, "The Full Moon Party has been famous for about 20-30 years. We hardly need to do much promotion. We just need to focus on convenience, safety, service, and consider the periods before their arrival and after their departure. July to August is the high season. This time, we expect about 20,000-30,000 tourists from around the world.
