北, 탄도미사일 3발 기습 발사...사드 배치 '무력시위'
North Korea fired off three ballistic missiles into the East Sea this morning,… in an apparent protest against Seoul and Washington's THAAD deployment.
The South Korean government has strongly condemned the move.

North Korea fired three ballistic missiles Tuesday morning in what appears to be a three-pronged protest against the THAAD deployment, aimed at protecting South Korea from the North's missile provocations.
Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea fired the three missiles from North Hwanghae province between 5:45 a.m. and 6:40 a.m., South Korea time.
Two of the missiles flew between five hundred and six hundred kilometers before falling into the East Sea.
"The flight range of the ballistic missiles is enough to reach all of South Korea, including the southern port city of Busan."
The flight path of one missile is still being analyzed to determine how far it flew before crashing into the sea.
The missiles fired this morning are presumed to be Scud-class or intermediate-range Rodong missiles.
The missile launch comes after the North threatened a physical response as soon as the location of the THAAAD deployment was confirmed.
Seoul and Washington announced last Wednesday that they would deploy the missile defense system to Seongju County, a sparsely populated county in the southern part of South Korea.
Military officials in Seoul say that when THAAD is deployed it will be able to construct a multi-layered missile defense system that could shoot down North Korea's Scud and Patriot missiles should they target the South.
Many North Korea watchers are predicting Pyongyang will continue its protests against the THAAD deployment.
