Speaker Sreeramakrishnan said on Monday that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's controversial Shiv Sena remarks will not be removed from the Assembly records. The Speaker has ruled that the assembly does not have the precedence of removing an expression of political opinion. The chief minister had levelled a political allegation. The statement of the opposition leader was removed as it could be interpreted in a different way. It sent out a wrong message, the Speaker pointed out.
