The cabinet is approving the Sugarcane fair remunerative pricing hike by Rs 10 to Rs 285/ Quintal for 2020-21. ET Now Ruchi Bhatia reports, the cabinet has given a go-ahead for approval of fair remunerative price for Sugarcane. This comes as good news fo the entire sugar sector.
The food ministry has put in a proposal for a hike of Rs 10 with respect to FRP pf cane which will now be Rs 285 / Quintal against Rs 275/ Quintal which was the FRP earlier.
The Cabinet briefing will be held and all the important decisions will be announced in this meeting.
