The Caribbean Region is one the most susceptible to the effects of climate change such as destruction due to stronger hurricanes, loss of coastal settlements and infrastructure due to rising sea levels and damaged economies. Therefore, various regional organizations are taking a stand at COP 29 to advocate for the region’s needs in the face of climate change.
