We've played in some venues with questionable power, so I got this for our 3-piece band to keep voltage up for our equipment, and the noise filtering and large capability surge suppression would also help. It worked great for both of those issues, but what was surprising is that some of our equipment glitches also went away! Digital amps and the digital PA mixer had been having some problems all along; settings changing, strange glitches, unexpected responses. And it all went away when we started using this thing! Very pleasantly surprised.
We're using the standard plug cord, so it's actually only capable of 1800 watts vs the 2400 rating, but that's fine, a bit overbuilt. We can always change the plug if needed.
No issues with temperature, it gets warm but not hot by any means. No issues with noise, either physical or electrical.
