The Christmas Cheshireman

LMS Stanier 4-6-0 Black Fives 44871 and 45407 Lancashire Fusilier double head Railway Touring Companies 'The Christmas Cheshireman' on the first day on the 2019 Chester Christmas Markets.

We first see the pair of fives pass Chester Racecourse and enter the City Walls past Water Tower Gardens. Next from Hoole Lane we see the fives coming out of the sidings at Chester station, ready to reverse into platform 4.

Finally as dusk falls we see 44871 and 45407 working hard out of Chester towards Crewe from Kingsley Terrace our their way back to Bristol Temple Meads.

Next the pair of Ian Riley owned locomotives are captured waiting the signal to come off the sidings at Chester station

The train was another case of Riley International Rescue, with the pair of 5MTs filling in for LNER Gresley 4-6-2 60009 Union of South Africa which had firebox issues.
