The Maharashtra government has announced a day of mourning on Thursday following the death of industrialist Ratan Tata. He passed away at the age of 86 at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday night after a brief illness. Ratan Tata, known for transforming the Tata Group into a globally recognized conglomerate, had his mortal remains transported from Breach Candy Hospital to his residence in Colaba, South Mumbai, early Thursday morning.
