The first batch of 100 women cadets in the Corps of Military Police in its rank of other than officers will be inducted into the Indian Army on May 8. These women cadets are in their advanced stage of training at Bengaluru-based CMP Centre & School.
Having begun their 61-week training on January 6 last year, these cadets will be recruited as Lance Naik and would be deployed in 11 units of the Indian Army.
