In this video, I have demonstrated how to configure Dlink DIR-505 mobile companion as Wi-Fi Hotspot.

DIR-505 connects to a Hotspot and shares the connection with all the devices you have - Laptop, Mobile, Tab etc.

This can be useful at places such as hotels, airports lounges, cafe etc to use a single connection and provide internet to all your devices.

Additionally, DIR-505 can provide an added layer of security when connecting to public hotspots by hiding your laptop and mobile devices from other devices on the network, by keeping them in your own private network.
