HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH 4 PM MONDAY AFTERNOON for Southern Erie and Chautauqua Counties including the cities of Orchard Park, Springville and Jamestown for South to Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected with the strongest winds near the Lake Erie shoreline and across higher terrain.

I AM JACK KANACK, THE WEATHER MEDIC, “THE DOCTOR OF WEATHER” WITH YOUR New York Jets at Buffalo Bills Game Day Weather Forecast for Sunday, December 29, 2024; BEING PLAYED AT Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.
This video will discuss weather conditions from the time period of 10am through 7pm Sunday, December 29, 2024.
THE WEATHER STORY:
Expect overcast skies, record warmth, rain and wind. Bring a raincoat to stay dry.
Expect a soaking rain trough noon, then scattered rain showers for the remainder of the day.
Temperatures will quickly rise from the upper 40’s at 10am to the upper 50’s by kickoff. Temperatures for the game itself will be in the upper 50’s to 60 with humidity as well, so it will feel more like an early October game instead of a late December game. Temperatures will remain in the upper 50’s on you way home.
Winds will be from the Southeast, however, they will increase throughout the day and evening impacting the passing and kicking game especially in the second half. Wind speeds will be 10 mph at 10am increasing to 14 mph gusting to 25 mph by kickoff and increasing to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph by the games end. After the game, winds will be 18 to 24 mph with gusts to 35 mph so keep both hands on the wheel especially if driving a high profile vehicle.
