Senior army commanders from 36 African countries have converged in Kampala for the third African Land Forces Summit that has been held to discuss ways of enhancing the cooperation of the regions troops in order to maintain peace and security on the continent.
The conference being held under the theme "Strength of the Army for the Nation and its People" was officially opened by President Museveni who called upon the army commanders to develop positive ideologies in their military agenda in order improve the lot of the ordinary folk.
