These are the first two books of the Tarzan series first published as a novel in 1914, the first year of WWI. Tarzan became known worldwide. Burroughs wrote 26 volumes. and multiple movies and comics have been created featuring Tarzan including a Disney animation with a darn good Phil Collins soundtrack.
The Audiobook cast is mentioned at the end of each book, but little to no information about them is available. these audiobooks were produced by the son(jr.) of Johnny Weismuller, an Olympic swimming champ, who in turn was the first talking Tarzan "Me Tarzan, You Jane". The 4 book series came in a charming wooden box.
