Chinese Algae Eater - Gyrinocheilos aymonieri

A fairly good algae eater that likes Cladophora algae specially. Will eat Black Beard Algae in smaller amounts specially if there are other types of greener algae in your aquarium.

Extremely territorial fish that grows fairly big and should not be kept in tanks smaller than 50 gallons (200 litres). Will stop eating algae when they get older and prefer to eat flakes and bottom food after a few months instead of algae.

Always choose the Siamese Algae (SAE) eater over the Chinese Algae Eater (CAE)

Perfect for ponds.
