Iconic on the outside, custom/comfy on the inside, a fully built Roadster shop chassis underneath it all, and a powerful fuel-injected LT4 V8 under the hood. You might have already fallen in love at first sight with this 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom resto-mod, but it only gets better the deeper you dig.
The exterior is that perfect blend of vintage and upgraded. After all, there is arguably no better recognized shape than the Tri-Five Chevys, but you can also instantly tell this one is extra special. The body panels have the kind of straightness that only comes from taking real time and huge money to get right. And this investment pays off when it's the canvas for an artfully slick application of a modern Red/Black paint. The paint has such a nice element that they expertly deleted much of the trim just so you could get an uninterrupted view of the shine as it shows off those legendary '55 Chevy curves. Of course, the side trim was retained, because it's a true symbol that this is a premium 210. In fact, the whole presentation is first-class. They made sure the classic brightwork elements looked awesome in all the right places, like the wraparound chrome bumpers, grille, and the trim that outlines the iconic pillarless hardtop. And that is blended with well-integrated newer pieces, like the Schott wheels. They have a sporty 19/20-inch front/rear stance, but it all tucks into the bodywork nicely.
The award-worthy custom presentation done by Paul Atkins continues when you open the door. It starts with the seats. Since people can get a great look inside any time your roll down all the windows on this hardtop, the seats were given a terrific custom stich design and finished in a supple leather. The carpeting, center console, headliner, and custom door panels all are done with a uniform look and quality to really remain impressive. This has all the best features, like an AM/FM/CD stereo with in-dash screen, power windows, cup holders, and an air conditioning system running modern R134a refrigerant. The custom steering wheel feels right at home in this one-off custom interior. It's mounted on a tilt column to give you a full view of the upgraded dash with crisp and clear Dakota Digital Instruments gauges.
Lift the hood, and you'll see another Chevy icon powering this legendary coupe. The fuel-injected LT4 V8 was borrowed from the C7 Z06 Corvette program, but with the smooth color-matched inner walls, this looks like has been here since day one. Not only do you have a modern motor giving you plenty of modern power, but this one has even been updated to breathe better with a H-pipe dual exhaust. It's mated to a 4L80E four-speed transmission, and so the full package was built to give you both speedy performance and easy overdrive cruising. If you look under this bad to the bone Bel Air's Roadster Shop color-matched chassis, tubular front A-arms and full underside of the body (true signs of a good frame-off restoration.) And power steering, a BIG four-wheel power disc brakes upgrade, and modern ZR-rated tires are all about making this custom Bel Air a terrific driver, too.
This is the iconic coupe upgraded for both show and go. It's the build that leaves you wanting for nothing. So, the only way you'll be disappointed is if you miss out on this custom '55 Chevy. Call today!!!
