The result is soft, moist, custard-y amazingness! The addition of nuts (or chocolate chips) add some crunch and the caramel sauce add sweetness! No fancy tools or mixers are required, so this is the perfect easy dessert for you to make this winter!

500g bread (any bread, stale or fresh!)
1 egg
1 egg yolk
250ml cream
237ml whole milk
2 tsp vanilla (or vanilla paste!)
1 tsp cinnamon
57g melted butter
60g brown sugar
a handful of walnuts (or other nuts, chocolate chips etc)
a grating of nutmeg
Caramel:
110g brown sugar
114g butter, softened
125ml cream
1 tsp vanilla (or vanilla paste!)
a pinch of baking soda
a pinch of salt
