Today let's learn to make some super tasty and tangy citrus Baked Orange Tart. It is the best dessert you can make during the festival time. It doesn't have any cornstarch and gelatin. It is perfect to serve as a dessert.
►Ingredients for the base
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Butter - 3/4 cup
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Orange Zest - 2 tbsp
►Ingredients for the filling
Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
Flour - 1/4 cup
Egg - 4
Orange juice - 2/3 cup
Orange zest - 1 tbsp
►Method
1. Mix all the base ingredients and combine them well.
2. Add it to a tart tin and press nicely.
3. Bake it in a 180-degree Celcius preheated oven for 30 minutes.
4. Combine all the ingredients for the filling and pour it into the baked tart base.
5. Bake again at the same temperature for 30 minutes until the filling is completely set.
6. After it cools down remove it from the tin and serve.
