Krone Trailers and Trailer Dynamics has resulted in special electrified trailers that reduce the diesel consumption and CO2 emissions of a semitrailer tractor by 20 to 40 percent.
The core of this is a powerful electric drivetrain, which supports the drive of the semitrailer and tractor while also recovering braking energy through recuperation. The eAxle delivers 360 kW continuously and up to 580 kW at peak.
