So what exactly is male privilege?

This is a question I get asked a lot in my professional work as a diversity consultant and in my personal life as an activist and social justice warrior. Because I often write and speak about patriarchy, privilege, and supremacy, it can be easy to forget that not all forms of privilege are obvious, and male privilege is one of the easiest ones for many people to overlook because it is so common.

So in this #RituTalks video, I want to break down for you exactly what male privilege is. And better yet, I list off a number of examples for how male privilege shows up in daily life so that you can start to better notice them and then work to interrupt them.
