It's 1987, and making your own blockbuster movies has never been easier! Sue Robbie demonstrates how - with a minimum of fuss - you can set up a home video editing system to turn your home videos into a cinematic tour de force.
All you need are two video recorders, two tapes, a camcorder, a monitor or television, a cassette recorder, an audio control box and mixing desk, a selection of BBC sound effect LPs*, several cables, and some quick fingers.
It couldn't be simpler.
This clip is from Video Active, originally broadcast 19 April, 1987.
* If you have misplaced your BBC sound effect LPs, you'll be relieved to know that the BBC Sound Effects Archive is now available online, featuring over 33,000 sound effects.
