This is a Veteran/No Damage Playthrough of Call of Duty World at War, played on the PS3.
'No Damage' means I will not be taking any damage in any gunfight in the game. There are three parts in this game where damage is mandatory, to my knowledge.
Firstly, in mission 4 "Vendetta" you cannot avoid taking damage twice in the fire building: The log that falls on you and the fire explosions before jumping down on the street.
Secondly, in the 11th mission "Black Cats" you will take damage multiple times throughout the entire mission as the enemy AI on boats/planes is too quick and accurate on Veteran. You can't avoid it really as you can't move.
And lastly, the third part is the final scene in the game where you put the flag on the Reichstag building in the final mission, mission 15 "Downfall". The german soldier will always hit you in the cutscene.
This run was very hard, even compared to Mw2019/BO Cold War/Vanguard played on highest difficulty/No Damage. Why? Because this game's enemy AI is quicker and more accurate and also you don't get the "Reload checkpoint" option, meaning you have to kill yourself with a grenade every time you take damage, which is annoying and takes time. The hardest parts for me were:
Mission 7 'Relentless' when fighting your way up the hill in to the mountain.
Mission 10 'Eviction' when you are fighting on the street and going towards the metro.
Mission 14 'Heart of the Reich' when you are doing the infamous artillery gun section.
Mission 15 'Downfall' when you are doing the final push after going up the stairs.
Still this campaign is amazing and I wanted to do a special playthrough, so it was nice nontheless.
