Vizcaya Museum and Gardens launches Creative Vizcaya, a program that brings working artists together with high school students to explore the estate and its collection through hands-on workshops and projects.
With support from the Janet Traeger Salz Charitable Trust, this program is slated to serve hundreds of students from local high schools.

Vizcaya was created as James Deering’s subtropical winter home in the 1916 and today it is a National Historic Landmark and accredited museum welcoming guests Wednesday through Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We only close on Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
