Reichenbach fall is a very spectacular waterfall located near Meiringen and is very close to the Aare Gorge. The waterfall is a 300-metre high cascade and consists of a total of seven waterfalls.
The Reichenbach Falls also became famous through Conan Doyle's story in which Sherlock Holmes falls down the waterfall together with his arch-enemy Professor Moriarty after a fierce battle.

Rheinfall is the biggest waterfall of Switzerland. The Rhine flows out of Lake Constance and 4km below the town of Schaffhausen it falls over 23 metres and 150 metres wide over a rocky step. At average water flow of the Rhine in summer, 600 cubic metres of water per second tumble over the rocks in the Rhine Falls.
The Falls are a major sight in Switzerland and attract over a million tourists a year.
