On this specially developed test wall with a height of 15 m we carry out air-, wind- and water-tightness tests, especially on glass façades. Thanks to the 15 m height we can test elements from several floors, with connections playing an important role.

The façades are tested to international standards for:

-Air permeability
-Wind load resistance
-Watertightness under static pressure
-Watertightness under dynamic pressure
-Earthquake test

The specifications of the test wall:  

-1 test wall, 2 positions
-1 control unit
-Maximum dimensions: 10 m (W) x 15 m (H)
-Maximum test pressure: 8,000 Pa (~wind speed of 400 km/h)
