This video shows how to boot from DVD drive in ASUS X551M laptop. This instruction should work for any ASUS model that comes with Windows 8 and 8.1

This laptop is little weird about how you enter into the BIOS. You will actually have to restart the laptop and hit F2 to go into BIOS. If you shutdown your laptop, you won't be able to go into BIOS.
