The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra had the privilege of performing the recording of Danny Elfman's Percussion Concerto, composed for percussion virtuoso, Colin Currie and led under the baton of award-winning conductor, JoAnn Falletta. They then performed this concerto live at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in November 2024.

Danny and Colin talk us through what's special about the piece and introduce us to some of the interesting instruments used in it, recorded at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
