So I booked my airport lounge on @travelsupermarket and decided to make it my mission to discover how good value they can be 🧮

The Lounge 🛋️
I was there across breakfast and lunch so there was plenty of hot options for both, plus breads, pastries, salad, yoghurt, and soup.

The Terminal 🪑
Lots of options including Boots, Pret, Itsu, Wetherspoons and Nando’s.

Boots Meal Deal - £4.99
Wetherspoons Burger - £10.99
Nando’s 1/4 Chicken + 2 sides - £12.25

🍺 DRINK 🍺

The Lounge 🛋️
Coffee, juice, soft drinks, beer wine, spirits and mixers included. Sparkling wine comes at a £5 extra charge, though No.1 Lounge (£40) includes this.

The Terminal 🪑
Lots of options but the cheapest sit down drinks I found were in Wetherspoons.

Pint of lager - £6.10
Gin & tonic - £6.35
Prosecco - £9.35

The Lounge 🛋️
Dedicated place to sit. If you’ve booked, you’ll have a guaranteed seat.

The Terminal 🪑
Lots of chairs dotted about but depending on what time you go, you could struggle to find a spot - especially with who you’re travelling with.

✨ EXTRAS ✨

The Lounge 🛋️
Good Wi-Fi and plugs galore. It also has its own toilets.

The Terminal 🪑
Shops, toilets and free wifi are all available.

🤔 CONCLUSION 🤔

If you normally get to the airport early, eat and drink and like to have a chilled place to sit then yes, airport lounges make sense AND can save you money.

For example:

Coffee - £3.20
Burger - £10.99
3 pints - £6.10 x 3
= £32.49

But it’s all to do with what YOU would usually spend.

For me, it’s a treat! And a really lovely way to start a chilled holiday away ☺️
