Ingredients:
- Cauliflower florets
- Pearl onions, halved
- Cucumbers, oblique cut
- Radishes, cut in quarters
- Sweet Peppers
- 1000 ml water
- 1000 ml distilled white vinegar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp white salt
- Thyme sprigs
- Cloves of garlic, peeled and lightly crushed
Equipment:
- Cutting board
- Chopping or Paring knife
- Airtight canning jars
- 3-quart sauce-pot
Process:
- Cut the vegetables in a size that is as uniform as possible for consistent pickling.
- Fill the canning jars with the mixed vegetables.
- Add water, vinegar, sugar, salt, thyme, and garlic to a sauce-pot and bring to a simmer.
- Pour the hot pickling liquid over the vegetables to submerge them, and seal the jars.
- Chill and store the jars in the refrigerator.
