Following its visit to The Mid Hants Railway 5029 Nunney Castle returned home to Tyseley with The Mid Hants Explorer. The loco ran light and tender first from the yard at Ropley to Alton, and was attached to the back of the train which had come down from Solihull behind 47773. The 47 then took the train to Guildford where it reversed and 5029 took over. We start with 5029 leaving the yard at Ropley and climbing towards Medstead, we then move to Bentley, followed by the climb from Wanborough towards Ash, and finally, the departure from Oxford.
