Marshall DSL100H Demo // High Gain // Best demo of 2017
This is the Demo of my Marshall DSL100H, this amp has a great amount of gain in it, the clean channel also is the crunch channel, and the lead channel has two channels, Lead 1 and Lead 2, the same knobs though.
The DSL100H is the newer version of the JCM2000, Those two are pretty much identical to each other. DSL stands for Dual Super Lead. This amp has 100watt but can also be set to 50watt. Its simple to use and it only weighs about a ton or so.
It has EL34 tubes and ECC83 in the preamp, it delivers the classical Marshall sound, especially on the Crunch channel. I would not say its an amp that would be in the list "Monsters of high gain" but it has some decent amount of gain.
This Marshall DSL100H Demo is made with my Gibson Les Paul Standard with EMG 81/85 pickups, no pedals, only a noise gate (Boss NS-2). The cab is an ENGL 4x12 with vintage 30 speakers in there. I recorded this trough my 12 channel mixerboard and used my Zoom H1 to record the signal.
Other amps like this would be: Marshall JCM 2000 Demo 2017, Marshall JCM 900 Demo 2017, Marshall Dual Super Lead, Marshall JCM 800 Demo 2017, Marshall Lead 100 Mosfet Demo, Marshall MF350 Demo, Marshall MF400 Demo.
I bought this amp back in early 2015 along with my ENGL 412 Pro cab and some other stuff as well, i am very happy with the buy and the reason why i didnt get the Marshall 1960 cab is that even if it also has Vintage 30 speakers i think the sound is a little bit to thin compared to the ENGL cab. The ENGL cab was way more expensive but sounded better with this Marshall DSL100H. Also my Laney IronHeart sounds WAY better with the ENGL cab than its original Laney IronHeart cab.
