Alrighty, in this video you watch as I attempt to catch a redfish utilizing a small Spider-Man Zebco style reel that features 6lb test and a whole two foot of rod. I have received many request to do such a video and thought it would be fun; I am trying to push out more content for you all, especially fun content. I started early and I knew I had a nice high tide at 10:30am, it was a little overcast with showers all around but that didn’t stop me. I kayaked up to my first stop fairly quickly but to no avail the redfish just weren’t home. I was using cut and live greenbacks and various artificial lures. After about 1.5 hours of attempting to locate the redfish, I moved off onto the grass flats. I started throwing the Mirrordine mini on my fancy new Spider-Man setup and it wasn’t long before I was hooked up.
