From the Editor: You might have noticed that we started putting a LOT more effort into our social media content this year. In the spirit of the holidays, we thought it would be fun to go back and reminisce on the vast breadth of topics we covered in 2024 with a "12 Days of Rigging" content set. It has been a great journey, and we've learned a lot about y'all through your feedback and insights. Thank you for being a great audience!
We just finished revisiting a bunch of our shop video content, so we opted to let that rest for a bit. Instead, we're highlighting the topics Nick, our VP of E-Commerce, has covered in our product- and education-centric Essential Rigging Tools series.
But don't worry — we've been taking notes from all your comments for our 2025 lineup, and we're going to do more traveling to bring content to you directly from the field, as well as more testing and "Tool Talk" style videos. Of course, we'll continue to get as much shop footage as we can, too (we know it's your favorite 😉).
After such a great year of learning how you like your rigging and lifting content, we're excited to see what next year brings. We appreciate all of you, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas! #Christmas2024
P.S.
So this post doesn't get lost in the SEO-noncompliant-ether, here are the details for the actual video for today🤓
What is a flat synthetic lifting sling?
Lots of people call these "web slings," because they're made with a dense, polyester webbing material. Web slings come in "eye and eye" or "endless" configurations, and can be ordered from Lifting.com in a variety of sizes and types.
We make our Tuffy slings in-house, so anyway you want it, we can make it. 1-ply, 2-ply, 3-ply, 4-ply, 1" to 12" widths, and twisted or flat eye terminations are standard.
If you have a custom request for a special application, send us a chat or submit a form.
