SABO S.A. has developed a robot palletizing system for carton tray handling. The robot system is a well-blended mixture of Fanuc's technologies and SABO’s know-how and ability to provide state of the art customized solutions.
The system performs the following operations: initially the system handles the conveying of the carton tray filled with yogurt cups up to the automatic stacking system where the carton trays are stacked into two layers. The stacked trays are then fed into the robot area. At this stage the robot performs the final operation of palletizing the carton tray on a pallet or trolley.
Benefits of the system are: fully automatic operation, high end safety measurements, intelligent and accurate picking of units, reduced operational and staffing costs, simple and friendly user operating interface and low maintenance cost.
Six (6) months later from the first order of the five (5) robotic palletizing systems; our customer FAGE has ordered from SABO S.A. three (3) additional similar systems which were installed successfully.
