This case involves a 35-year-old female who presents with a long standing history of hypertension. After thorough work up, she was found to have an adrenal adenoma. Biochemical testing revealed what was consistent with hypersecreting aldosteronoma. This was confirmed on a CT scan with an adenoma on the left. Aldosteronomas are typically smaller lesions; the patient had a 1.5cm adenoma.. And so to confirm the diagnosis, an adrenal venous sampling was performed, which was highly suspicious for a left aldosterone secreting adenoma.
