This is my 50-year-old Portulacaria afra bonsai, often known as the dwarf jade plant or elephant bush. My father took care of it for 40 years and now i have been maintaining thus tree fir the past 10 years. So this tree is a family tree:) With five decades of meticulous care, this bonsai showcases a deeply textured and mature trunk, its bark gnarled and aged with hints of silvery gray, emphasizing its age and resilience. The trunk splits into gracef branches that spread into a dense canopy, displaying its characteristic small, round, succulent green leaves.
