Connectivity in the Asia Pacific region has been steadily improving over the years. However, these advancements have not reached everyone equally, especially women and girls, and rural and marginalized population groups.
We examined the realities across various countries, sectors, and stakeholders to identify what can and should be done to promote true inclusion — not just in discussions but in actual policymaking and implementation. This is essential for driving effective change in people's lives.
While common patterns exist, the unique nuances of each country highlight the need for tailored approaches. This underscores the importance of partnerships and platforms like the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF), where we can collaboratively brainstorm solutions and advocate for their adoption in our communities.
