A video investigating the cause of a rattling noise. At first it sounds like the bottom of the engine but eventually you can determine that the noise is coming from the catalytic convertor.
After removing the O2 sensor you can confirm that it is loose catalyst internals causing the noise.
Noise is most prominent whilst idling and blipping the throttle or whilst manuovering at slow speeds.
Time for replacement I think before the O2 sensor is damaged more.....
