In this video I'll be painting up one of the 1st Legion, the Dark Angels. Clad in their dark green power armour, they've always had the air of mystery about them due to their suspect past. Despite painting a small force of fallen a few years ago (see the March to War from maybe 2018?) this will be the first Loyalist Dark Angel I've painted up. I loved the old artwork by Jim Burns (the cover of Epic Space Marine and also the D-Rok 'Oblivion' cover) and wanted a very dark armour with subtle highlights and I'm happy with how he turned out.
