***EDIT*** I think the 720p looks noticeably worse. Will try 1080p again and tweak some things.

So I lowered the saturation and left the brightness the same. Also added a very small amount of sharpness. Wanted to try recording and rendering in 720p. Does this look better than the last? I don't think 1080p is that important if quality takes a hit.
