Please follow the instructions to assemble the cycle rack. Before you fit your rack to the roof bars, place your bike onto the rack and adjust the A-frame clamp into the right position. This ensures your bike can slot into place when the rack is secured to your roof bars. Ensure that the bike is centred on the rack and that both wheels slot into the wheel tray.
If the rack isn’t long enough for your bike, then it can be extended. Simply remove the bolt located in the base of the wheel tray and extend the rack, as shown in the instructions. Ensure that all bolts are tightened before moving on to the next stage
To secure the rack to your roof bars, you need to use the three U shaped bolts. There are two that will be positioned on the roof bars to the front of the car and one at the rear. Before fixing the rack, check your roof bars are secure and in good condition.
If you’re fitting more than one roof rack, then ensure there’s even spacing between them. Also, be careful not to exceed the maximum roof carrying weight for your car. You can find details in your car handbook or by searching online.

It’s important to ensure that all bolts are tightened evenly to ensure that the rack sits flat on top of the roof bars.
Place the bike on to the rack and check that it’s straight. If it’s not, remove the bike, and adjust the rack until the bike sits upright on the rack. The wheels need to be secured in place using the wheel straps, and ensure the clamp is also secure around the frame. Check that it’s fitted securely and doesn’t move when you apply some pressure.
