The X-47B is a fighter-size unmanned aircraft developed by Northrop Grumman as part of the US Navy's Demonstration Carrier Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) program. The X-47B is a variant of the Pegasus X-47A, which was developed as a joint USAF and USN program called J-UCAS in 2001. This program is funded by DARPA, with Northrop Grumman as the prime contractor.
